City, North Carolina, Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Catch the "Great
Smoky Mountain Railway" for a beautiful mountain gorge train trip from the Bryson City Depot. Kayaking
and tubing are available nearby, or try some fishing from our
river dock for small mouth bass, walleye, catfish, brim and occasional trout. Mountain biking trails
at "Tsali", one of America's ten most famous mountain biking areas, are just 12 miles away. Whitewater
rafting on the Nantahala River is twenty minutes away. Enjoy hiking the nearby "Appalachian
Trail" or horseback riding on mountain trails nearby. Don't miss golfing
one of the most beautiful mountain courses in our area. In addition, nearby "Cherokee", located 10 miles
on the Cherokee Reservation, has many activities, which include Harrah's Casino and the Cherokee
Indian Museum. Motorcyclists ride "the Dragon", 318 turns in
ll miles at Deal's Gap. All these
